Release: 6DoF RIR dataset

We are pleased to announce the release of the 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) room impulse response datasets, measured using a dense loudspeaker grid (6DRIR-DL).

In this study, we present a comprehensive and densely populated set of measurements (available in Section 7), consisting of multi-position directional room impulse responses (DRIRs). These measurements were captured using a grid of 14×28 miniature loudspeakers arranged in an 8×8 cm grid, connected to 9 Zylia 19-channel compact Sound-Microphone Arrays (SMAs) positioned both above and below the loudspeaker grid.

The measurements were conducted at KAIST last September, in collaboration with Prof. Franz Zotter from IEM Graz, Austria. Both professors devoted significant effort to obtain these measurements, working tirelessly in a room without ventilation during the hot summer 😂 We extend our gratitude to Prof. Zotter for his dedication and invaluable contribution to this project.
